Hot Sexy Events: October 22-28
Halloween is just around the corner, and that means when it comes to Hot Sexy Events this is absolutely the busiest time of the year. Halloween is, quite frankly, the sexiest of holidays. Eat your heart out, St. Valentine; Halloween is the holiday that brings out naughty nurses, feisty firemen, vivacious vamps, and curvaceous clowns. The list is positively endless, unlike our Hot Sexy list which brings you only the best of the naughty delights not to be found in a kid’s candy bag.
Tuesday, October 23: Most people, when they hear the word “munch,” think about biting down on some crunchy candy delight. But amongst the kinky crowd of BDSMers a “Munch” is a chance to meet up and chew on some great conversation. The Vancouver Downtown Munch is presented by the fabulous folks at Metro Vancouver Kink, a go-to destination for education and fun when it comes to kinky play and dungeon parties here in Vancouver. Their munch takes place the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 6:30-9:00pm, at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown. Just ask for the downtown munch at the front desk where you arrive. You’ll find more details on the Downtown Munch here on Fetlife. For more information on MVK you can visit their website.
Note: Fetlife is a social network for the kinky set; a membership is required to access Fetlife. Membership is free. Wherever possible Erotic Vancouver will list non-membership websites or Facebook for access to more information, but Fetlife is sometimes the best or only source for information on some of the events we list. Trust us, if you’ve got even a little bit of a kinky side you should join! You can thank us for the advice later.
Tuesday, October 23: Show Us Your Wits is the improv event that’s the pride of East Vancouver. It takes some of Vancouver’s top improvisers (The Fictionals, Vancouver TheatreSports League) and teams them up with the city’s hottest burlesque performers in a mashup of sequins and shenanigans! This month features guest comedian Russ Brummer, and burlesque performances by Riannaconda and Sparkle Plenty. It’s a night that promises to serve up some hilarious improv tricks and yummy burlesque treats. The fun takes place at Cafe Deux Soleils from 7:30-9:30. Admission is just $5 at the door. You’ll find more details here on Facebook.

It’s an evening that provides rope bondage enthusiasts with a safe, welcoming space to practice their skills. It is also a night dedicated to spreading the joy of bondage to beginners through demos, group learning, and a supportive space to practice. Be you top or bottom, curious newcomer or experienced rigger, come out to Rope Night and enjoy the company of some excellent people and fun with ropes. It takes place at a private residence in Burnaby, so to get on the guest list you’ll need to contact the host.
You’ll find details on Rope Night here on Fetlife, or you can contact the organizer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thursday, October 25: Things That Go Jiggle In The Night is a Halloween Hafla, an evening of belly dance and good food. It’s a night of raunchy music, burlesque dance, blue stand-up comedy, weird short films and decidedly naughty outrageous variety. Really, if you haven’t seen The Wet Spots at least once you haven’t properly sampled some of the best that Vancouver has to offer. Check out their video Do You Take it In The Ass (NSFW) for a sample of their sexy shenanigans.

Friday, October 26: If you like your comedy stripped down and bare then this Friday you’ll want to get yourself down to Granville Island where the Vancouver TheatreSports League presents The Comic Strippers. The VTSL main stage improvisers play a fictitious male stripper troupe in this scared scriptless improv comedy show. Think Magic Mike with more mayhem and laughs.
Semi undressed and completely unscripted, The Comic Strippers take off their shirts and take on your suggestions to create a whole new genre of comedy.
The show starts at 11:15pm at The Improv Centre on Granville Island. You’ll find more details on the Vancouver Theatre Sports website.
Saturday, October 27: Sin City Fetish Night Fetish Halloween is legendary, and for a decade they’ve sold out each and every year. Well, this year is no exception, but for those of you determined to take in one of the the fetish scene’s top events you’re in luck: 100 tickets are being released at the door over the course of the evening. Plan to get there early, and expect to wait in line to get into the club, but that’s the price you pay for not getting your tickets earlier.
Please remember that there is a strict fetish dress code in effect at each and every Sin City, and Halloween doesn’t change that. According to the organizer “Costumes that are non-kinky in any way will not pass the fetish dress code. Yes, it is absolutely a Halloween party, but Sin City is a FETISH Halloween party with a FETISH dress code.” For ideas of what does and does not constitute a fetish Halloween costume you can scroll down to the bottom of this page for a handy graphic courtesy of Restricted Entertainment head honcho and Sin City host DJ Pandmonium.
Saturday, October 27: Another example of why it’s best to get your tickets early this time of year is Club Eden’s Bare-to-Scare Halloween Ball. This event for the swinging set is sold out, though waiting list spots are still available. To get on the list you’ll need to send an email with “Halloween Waiting List” in the subject line, along with the number of tickets you need and a phone number.
If you’re interested in getting on the guest list, or if you’d like to find out a little more about what your missing, you can visit the Club Eden website for more details.
Saturday, October 27: Erotic Vancouver is happy to let you know there’s one Halloween Party we recommend on Saturday night that isn’t sold out — at least not yet. Celebrities Freaky Circus Halloween promises to be the strangest show on earth Saturday night. Imagine walking into the Big Top at a Circus that went wrong in every way and you’ll start to have an idea of what this evening will be like.
Featuring The Perry Twins, with an opening set by resident DJ Drew, non-stop go-go dancing, a special Halloween performance by Mantra, and a costume contest with a $500 prize for best circus themed costume, it might just be the hottest ticket in the city that’s still available!
Tickets are $25 and can be bought at Little Sisters or Priape (you’ll find info on both stores on Erotic Vancouver’s sex shops guide), or via the Celebrities website. You’ll find more details on Facebook.
Sunday, October 28: Vancouver’s longest running alternative night, Sanctuary, holds its lucky thirteenth annual Something Wicked This Way Comes Halloween Party at Celebrities Nightclub. Continuing the Freaky Circus theme of Celebrities party the night before, this night promises to turn up the big top notch just that little bit more courtesy of the twisted imaginations at Restricted Entertainment, the same minds responsible for the sold out Sin City Halloween.
Featuring DJ’s Pandemonium, Contrasoma and R-Lex playing electro, industrial, and new wave from the 80s to the ‘aughts and beyond, plus a costume contest with over $500 in cash and prizes, and probably more than a few surprises over the course of the night. You’ll find details on Facebook.
Descent Sunday is a weekly night playing Goth-Industrial-Electro-Metal-and-anything-goes-underground. At this special Carnal Descent “Anything goes” doesn’t just refer to the music!
When you arrive you’ll be given a very special deck of cards. Choose a card within your pack, present this card to someone, obtain their consent, perform the dirty and daring deed and receive a new card from them. Press your boundaries, have some fun, and win some prizes as we challenge you to collect as many daring cards as you can. Cash in your cards for prizes!
It’s a fun and delicious way to spend an evening, and is just about the cheapest ticket in town. Speaking of “the cheapest ticket in town,” play your cards right and that might be what they’re saying about you come Monday morning!
Carnal Descent gets under way at 10pm at The Red Room. You’ll find details here on Facebook.
That’s it for another week’s worth of Hot Sexy Events. But the fun ain’t done yet! Check back next week for what Halloween and the nights around it have to offer up for spooky, sexy celebrations.
