Hot Sexy Events: October 15-21

After a 3 week hiatus Hot Sexy Events is back with a vengeance, and we’re happy report that Vancouver’s exciting cycle of events has gone trekking along without us! Our apologies to anyone who missed many of the great events that happened while Hot Sexy Events wasn’t here to let you know about them.

Tuesday, October 16: The Halloween festivities start early this month at Guilt & Company with the burlesque night Dead Darlings. Featuring performers Ruth Ordare, Voodoo Pixie, Candy Curves, Rianna Conda, Voracious V, Queen of Halloween Spooksy Delune, Cameo LeCrock, Lola Frost and the inimitable Bloody Betty, leading you on a procession of the fallen and risen.

Plus this evening features the a never before seen story of the clown. It’s an artistic and breath taking presentation directed and produced by Cameo LeCrock and starring Baron S. Cameron, Isadora Belle, Voodoo Pixie, Precious Metal, Ruth Ordare, Velvet VonDoff, and Voracious V. The evening runs from 8-11pm, but as with all things at Guilt and Company you are advised to get their early. Details can be found here on Facebook.

Thursday, October 18: The Vancouver Poly 101 Group features their monthly Poly Discussion Group, the subject of which this month is “There are no stupid poly questions.” Come out for a sweeping discussion of any and all things poly.

The evening starts at 6pm and runs until 9. You can expect to find a welcoming group happy to help you in your poly explorations — at least as far as discussion goes, and who know what else…

As of September the Poly 101 Group has a NEW VENUE: Yagger’s Downtown, located at 433 West Pender Street. In order to see the event info on Facebook you’ll first have to become a member of the Vancouver Poly 101 group. Then full details on the evening can be found here once you are.

Saturday September 20th features a plethora of events happening, so people looking for some erotic fun that night are going to have some choices to make.

Saturday, October 20: Start your evening off early as the much beloved Geeks After Dark crew presents It’s Dangerous To Go Alone, a parody tribute to everybody’s favorite tights and tunic adventures The Legend of Zelda.

Join hosts Link (Cameron H. Russell) and Ganondorf (Tyler James Nicol) as their most magical of DJs and Producer (Fairlith Harvey) lets you dance till day turns to night.

This GAD will also have one of our biggest door prize EVER with goodies dug up from all over. The catch? Free tickets will only be given out between doors open and the start of the show (6:00-6:30) after that you have to pay your own way to get your hand on these treasures.

Featuring funny and fabulous burlesque performances by Chai Tea (boylesque), Trixie Hobbitses, Misty Meanor, Diamond Minx, Sherry Hymen, Whatshername and Seraphina Gunn.  Stage Kitty antics by Riannaconda.

Doors open at 6pm, and the show starts at 6:30pm. You’ll find full details on Facebook.

Saturday, October 20: NOIR Fetish Ball celebrates their 2nd Anniversary this Saturday at Open Studios. It promises to be a night to remember!

Expect all of the usual NOIR hijinks including a Fire and Electrical Play Demos, a very special suspension performance and more.

As with every NOIR Fetish Ball, the only theme is Fetish — but resident photographer Frankie Panky has something special planned for the photobooth, with photos taken this evening being desaturated of all but the colour red! Your outfit doesn’t feature red? Never fear, grab hold of one of our red props, and make your picture pop.

Doors open at 9pm, and the night runs until 2am. You’ll find details on Facebook here, or on the NOIR website here.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Reive DoigEditor of Erotic Vancouver, and writer of this column, is a partner in NOIR Fetish Ball.

Special NOIR Announcements: There’s still time to enter the NOIR Fetish Ball Tagline Contest. Get your entry in before midnight Thursday for a chance to win free admission for two to this Saturday’s party, plus the grand prize winner will be announced Saturday night. Details can be found here.
Those attending Geeks After Dark Saturday night can get in for the early bird price at NOIR this evening even after 10pm. Simply show your Cellar door stamp to the door girls and let them know you’re coming from GAD and get in for only $12.

Saturday, October 20: It’s time for another of Vancouver’s hottest off premise swing parties, the V3 Halloween Costume Dance. It’s an invite only event, so you’ll have to find out all the details from the organizers. You’ll find the V3 Meet & Greet Dances group here on Facebook.

Saturday, October 20: The Work Less Party presents their 8th Annual Masquerade Ball. Dress up in all your wildest finery, throw on a mask and buckle your dancing shoes because the Work Less Party has planned a night of crazy performance, live music and debauchery just waiting for you.

The fun runs from 8pm-2am, at the Japanese Cultural Centre. Tickets are $20 at the door and the organizers bill their dress code as “Outrageous or completely crazy- you can never have TOO MUCH or go TOO FAR!” Don’t say you weren’t warned.

You’ll find all the details here on Facebook.

Saturday October 20: For those who like their Halloween spirit with a healthy dose of BDSM, Saturday night features Rascal’s Annual Halloween Party. The organizers promise that this evening will be much different from what you’ve come to expect from a regular Rascal’s party.

You will enter into an eerie room lit with candles and antique chandeliers. Light enough to see by, yet dim enough to feel strangely different. As you look around the place once familiar to you, you realize the room is fully transformed – a chill runs up your spine — you hear familiar voices – see some familiar faces…

Celebrate the sexy and the spooky… the glamorous and the ghoulish… the chic and the chilling at this years Rascals Halloween party! Wear your wildest costume and join us for a Halloween celebration like no other.

Rascals fully themed Halloween hideout features lots of Tricks and Treats, spooky rooms, and fogy hallways.

The evening runs from 8pm-1am, and you’ll find all the details here on Fetlife or on the Rascal’s website.
